SamSarah Design Studios continues their Farmer's Market
Vegetable Stand Series with Fresh Garlic. There
are six charts in this series, each containing a segment of the
Farmer's Market Vegetable Stand Banner, and each with a
coordinating stitched and sculpted vegetable. Fresh
Garlic is the second chart in the series. SamSarah is
stitching all six of the banner segments in a row. You may
choose to stitch yours separately and frame them individually.
The model is stitched on Weeks Dye Works 30ct hand-dyed Straw
Linen. Threads used are Crescent Colours (Argyle Socks,
Blackbird, Tufted Yellow, Wild Berries), The Gentle Art Sampler
Thread (Baby Spinach-qty.2, Chives, Green Apple, Morning Glory, Old
Hickory, Parchment) and Weeks Dye Works (Blue Jeans-qty.2, Bright
Leaf, Lancaster Red, Parchment-qty.2). The stitch count is
40w x 71h for each vegetable individually and stitched altogether
the stitch count will be 240w x 71h.
The Garlic soft sculpture is stitched on Weeks Dye Works 28ct
over-dyed Light Khaki/Natural Gingham Linen using The Gentle Art
Sampler Thread (Old Hickory) and Crescent Colours (Bamboo-qty.2,
Secondhand Rose). The stitch count is 77w x 40h.
