Stoney Creek's popular Pattern of the Month continues with the August 2013 design "Offer Hope."
We stitched the snowman side of the design by itself and used one of Stoney Creek's finishing kits to make a darling Christmas ornament. We also stitched the complete chart as the fifth installment of a cozy WELCOME which is displayed hanging as a banner from a Frosty Snowman fabric holder and framed in a black 5" x 31" frame. Stitch count for the ornament portion is 28w x 40h, approximately 2" x 2 7/8" on 14ct. Stitch count for the complete chart is 60w x 60h, approximately 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" on 14ct. Stitch count for the complete series stitched together is 60w x 426h. The design is embellished (optional) with handmade snowflake, heart and carrot nose buttons. Models are stitched on 28ct Lambswool Linen over 2 threads. If stitching on 14ct, we suggest substituting with 14ct Lambswool Aida. Large and small fabric cuts are offered of both fabrics. If stitching ornaments, up to four ornaments can be made out of the smaller cuts with careful cutting and centering!
