Stoney Creek Bird of the Month series continues with this August Summer Tanager design. Stitch count 66w x 89h - apx 4 3/4" x 6 1/4" on
14ct.
We stitched our design on 28ct White Jobelan over two threads,
did some fringing and have it displayed on a 4" x 6" Black Magnet
Board. Twig with Leaves & Flower magnets dress it up and keep the design displayed on
the board. DMC
colors 304, 310, 321, 498, 611, 612, 666, 676, 677, 729, 760, 761, 772, 814, 3348, 3362, 3363, 3364, 3713 and 3801 are used. We also used DMC #8 White Pearl Cotton to backstitch around the outer edge of the design as a border for fringing.
