Stoney Creek Bird of the Month series continues with this September Rose-Breasted Grosbeak design. Stitch count 66w x 89h - apx 4 3/4" x 6 1/4" on
14ct.
We stitched our design on 28ct White Jobelan over two threads,
did some fringing and have it displayed on a 4" x 6" Black Magnet
Board. Butterfly and flower magnets dress it up and keep the design displayed on
the board. Weeks Dye Works 1271 Bark (DMC sub 3021) is used in addition to DMC
colors white, 309, 310, 317, 326, 335, 712, 738, 739, 3348, 3362, 3363, 3364 and 3799. We also used DMC #8 White Pearl Cotton to backstitch around the outer edge of the design as a border for fringing.
