The
"Santa's Village" series is a 12 part series, with one pattern being
released each month starting in November. All of the designs have a
suggested fabric of 32 count Lambswool Linen, and all measure the same
size with a stitch count of 72w by 88h. This makes them about 4 1/2" x
5 1/2" on the 32 count fabric or 5.14" x 6.29" on 14 or 28ct.
Each
of the designs are perfect to stitch alone, but they are really special
when stitched together. If you decide to stitch the entire village in
the way that it is shown, it will have a stitch count of 288w x
268h, which makes it about 18" x 16 3/4" on 32ct or 20.57" x 19.14" on 14ct or 28ct, so you will need a fat 1/2 piece of fabric. Horizonatally, the designs flow one into the
next without skipping any stitches. Vertically, in between the rows,
you skip two stitches.
Another
special part of the designs is that each will use one button from Just
Another Button Company. Using the button though is completely optional,
and so it is not included with the pattern. If you like the button you
can purchase it to add on, and if not, then just stitch the chart as
directed without the button. Keep in mind that the buttons were chosen
to fit with the 32 count fabric, so if you choose a different fabric
count they may not fit the design as well. This size will be suitable for the 14ct or 28ct fabrics as well. The button JB9659 is available and located in related products below.

Threads used in this design are: Crescent Colours (Hazelnut #CC-219) and DMC thread (321, 433, 469, 470, 727, 743, 754, 3371, White.) The frame for this individual design is also available. It is the "Merry" frame in the Fleamarket finish, Icing color size 6" x 7".
