Snowflakes are
a phenomenon that amazes us all. Simply put, snowflakes are nature's
art. The complex, beautiful, symmetrical structure of a snow crystal
quite literally arises out of thin air as it tumbles through the
clouds. Real snow crystals are hexagons with a six-faceted symmetry.
However, for the ease of designing and stitching, these beautiful
snowflakes are eight-sided. They include pale metallic braid for
shimmer and pastel crystal beads to add a touch of dimension and
iridescence. Rounding out the design is a very short verse about the
awe and wonder of snowflakes.
Old man winter upon us blows,
Casting chills and driven snows.
But in place of the warmth he takes,
Is the awe and wonder of snowflakes.
