Stoney Creek's popular Pattern of the Month continues
with the December 2012 design "Enjoy the Little Things."
We stitched this as a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" design by itself on 28ct clay
cashel over 2 threads and framed it in a 5x5 Tri Leaf & Vine button
frame from Stoney Creek, and also stitched all six designs of this
series together and have it framed in a black 5" x 25" frame. If
stitching on 14ct we like the looks of Dirty Aida. The design is
embellished (optional) with a gold small butterfly charm and a handmade tri flower button. In addition to standard
embroidery floss (see master color list below for all six patterns)
this design uses Glissen Gloss Rainbow Blending Thread 605 Brick,
*Weeks Dye Works 3960 Teal Frost (DMC 3768 sub), Weeks Dye Works 1326 Rust (DMC 898 sub), and Caron Waterlilies 139
Kelp.
Caron
Waterlilies 139 Kelp is used throughout the series and one skein
should be suitable for stitching all six
designs.

Weeks Dye Works 3960 Teal Frost is used for backstitching the smaller butterflies in this design. It is used extensively for backstitching in the January 2013 Pattern of the Month "Listen to your Dreams."
