Many people
think of Frankenstein as the formidable monster portrayed in old horror
films. However, the intent of the artist was to present Franky The
Thinker as a confused, kind-hearted fellow wondering how he came to be
and pondering the purpose of his existence. His pose has a close
resemblance to the famous sculpture by Auguste Rodin, popularly known
as The Thinker Statue. Like the famous sculpture and its unique pose,
Franky is depicted in sober meditation with hand to chin, right elbow
to knee, and in a crouched position. You can't help but like him and he
will surely become a charming addition to your Halloween décor.
