June 2015 Pattern of the Month "Scary Sights"

We stitched this as a 7 1/4" x 3" design by itself on 28ct Picture This Plus Hand-Dyed "Tarnish" Cashel linen and framed it in a small spiderweb frame from Stoney Creek. We also stitched all four designs of this series together (stitch count 102w x 192h, approximately 7 1/4" x 13 3/4") and have it displayed in a large spiderweb frame and as a banner using a 8" Trick or Treat fabric holder. DMC colors used in "Scary Sights" are 154, 166, 310, 321, 415, 754, 946, 3819, 3834 and 3835. Specialty threads used are Weeks Dye Works 1239 Flatfish (DMC sub 3781), 2201 Moss (DMC sub 3011) and DMC Light Effects Glow-in-the-dark E940. The design is embellished (optional) with four red glitter simple buttons.

*If looking for a less expensive alternate fabric we would recommend a Misty Blue Aida or Twilight Blue Linen.
