Stoney Creek's Quote of the Month series continues with the October design - Leaves of Kindnss. Stitch count 67w x 91h - apx 4 3/4" x 6 1/2" on 14ct. We stitched our design on 28ct Antique White Jobelan over two threads, did some fringing and have it displayed on a 4" x 6" Black Magnet Board. October leaves magnets dress it up and keep the design displayed on the board. Weeks Dye Works 2197 Oscar (DMC sub 3011/830), 2242 Cognac (DMC sub 2242) and Threadworx 1043 Fantasy Island are used in addition to DMC colors 310, 676, 677, 729, 746, 976, 3854 and 3857. We also used DMC #8 White Pearl Cotton to backstitch around the outer edge of the design as a border for fringing.
