Stoney Creek's popular Pattern of the Month begins a new six part series with the November 2014 design "Life is a Gift".
We stitched this as a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" design by itself on 28ct Lambswool Linen over 2 threads and framed it in a 5x5 daisy heart button frame from Stoney Creek, and also stitched all six designs of this series together and have it displayed as a banner in a 6" double heart fabric holder. DMC colors used in "Life is a Gift" are 355, 927, 976, 3012, 3371 and 3857. Specialty threads used are Threadworx 1043 Fantasy Island, Weeks Dye Works 1108 Honeysuckle (DMC sub 676) and 2201 Moss (DMC sub 3011), Crescent Cotton Dublin Bay (DMC sub 926) and GlissenGloss Rainbow Blending Thread 908 Black Copper. The design is embellished (optional) with handmade daisy and folk heart buttons. Threadworx 1043 Fantasy Island and Rainbow Blending Thread 908 Black Copper are used throughout the series.
