Stitch count 43w x 43h, approximately 3" x 3" on 14ct. Model stitched on 14ct navy blue Aida. Rainbow Glissen Gloss 407 Brass and 000 Bright White are used in addition to DMC floss colors white, 310, 321, 498, 611, 666, 775, 814, 815, 934, 976, 3348, 3362, 3363, 3364, 3756, 3841 and 3854. A black petite seed bead is used for the cardinal's eye - a French knot could be used but may not be as noticeable. The design is embellished (optional) with 2 small and 1 medium Mill Hill Snowflake Glass Treasures (SKU's 12035 & 12037) which are attached with Mill Hill 02010 Ice seed beads. The design was made into a Christmas ornament using Stoney Creek's 3 1/2" square gold trim ornament finishing kit.
