April 2015 Pattern of the Month "Never Give Up"

Stoney Creek's popular Pattern of the Month series continues with the April 2015 design "Never Give Up"

We stitched this as a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" design by itself on 28ct Lambswool Linen over 2 threads and framed it in a 5x5 daisy heart button frame from Stoney Creek, and also stitched all six designs of this series together and have it displayed as a banner in a 6" double heart fabric holder. DMC colors used in "Never Give Up" are 355, 356, 677, 746, 927, 928, 976, 977, 3012, 3013, 3371, 3826 and 3830. Specialty threads used are Threadworx 1043 Fantasy Island and 1067 Army Fatigue; Weeks Dye Works 1108 Honeysuckle (DMC sub 677), 1230 Havana (DMC sub 869), 1330 Baked Apple (DMC sub 3857) and 2201 Moss (DMC sub 3011); Classic Colorworks Dublin Bay (DMC sub 926); and  GlissenGloss Rainbow Blending Thread 908 Black Copper. The design is embellished (optional) with handmade flower buttons. Threadworx 1043 Fantasy Island and Rainbow Blending Thread 908 Black Copper are used throughout the series.
